Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, was taken into custody on allegations of cocaine possession and resistance against arrest. The incident occurred in Scottsdale, Arizona, upon which he was quickly placed under detention.

The local authorities in Scottsdale reported that they approached a woman in the early hours of the morning due to a heated argument taking place. Upon arrival, officers noticed a man later identified as Marcus Jordan involved in the altercation.

According to the account given by the local authority, when the police attempted to apprehend Marcus Jordan, he resisted arrest. The officers also noted that he showed signs of suspected intoxication. Subsequent to an on-site search, they discovered what appeared to be cocaine, following which Marcus was immediately arrested.

The official police statement indicated that he was taken to a local Scottsdale detention center. He was later charged with possession of a controlled substance, namely cocaine, and resisting law enforcement officers during the attempt to apprehend him.

The case has been forwarded to the local prosecutor’s office for further investigation as is standard procedure in such incidents. Currently, the details regarding the woman involved in the altercation have not been made public.

The official court proceedings against Marcus Jordan will be forthcoming. As of this writing, it’s not immediately clear whether Marcus has a legal representative for his upcoming legal proceedings.
