Luca Dotti, son of iconic actress Audrey Hepburn, shared his views on Ivanka Trump’s decision to pay tribute to his late mother. Trump, daughter and advisor to former US President Donald Trump, dressed similarly to Hepburn’s iconic look from the film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” in her posted photo.
Ivanka’s choice to mirror Hepburn’s character, Holly Golightly, was met with mixed responses from the public. The black dress with pearl accessories was almost an exact replication of Hepburn’s attire in the 1961 film.
Dotti, who rarely comments on his mother’s posthumous appearances, felt compelled to respond to this specific reference. He didn’t argue about Trump’s choice, neither did he give any approval or disapproval on it. He just mentioned that anyone has the right to be inspired by Audrey as she belongs to everyone.
Although Hepburn passed away in 1993, her influence in the worlds of fashion and cinema remains vibrant to this day. Often, her likeness and style are used as tokens of classic elegance and timeless glamour.
