Bethenny Frankel, reality TV personality and entrepreneur, has announced plans to provide support to those impacted by the California wildfires. Frankel intends to send cash cards and critical supplies to those affected by the disaster.
This philanthropic gesture isn’t a first for Frankel, who has previously utilized her disaster relief initiative, BStrong, to send aid during other crises. BStrong and Global Empowerment Mission, a partner organization, have successfully sent aid relief supplies to various locations experiencing natural disasters.
According to Frankel’s remarks in a recent interview, her focus is on providing cash cards to wildfire victims, enabling them to use the funds as they see fit. The use of cash cards, she argues, permits a sense of autonomy and dignity for those who have found themselves in these challenging circumstances.
Additionally, Frankel stressed the importance of delivering ‘critical supplies’ alongside the cash cards. However, she did not specify which materials these might include. In the past, in similar situations, her team has delivered medical supplies, food, personal protective gear, and water filtration systems.
No details regarding shipment timelines or specified amounts have been released, but in previous disaster relief contributions, Frankel’s BStrong has shown swift action and significant aid.
California has been facing aggressive wildfires in recent weeks, causing mass evacuations, damage to properties, and loss of lives. The aid provided by Frankel’s initiative is therefore anticipated to offer a much-needed lifeline to those affected by this ongoing disaster.
