Achieving this has been the result of a triumphant streak in various series featuring Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
This pinnacle was reached due to Pakistan’s clean sweep in the series against Zimbabwe, which included two Test matches, three ODIs and three T20Is. The series took place in May 2021, and throughout the series, Pakistan claimed victory in every match, thereby contributing heavily to this record.
Particularly, Pakistan’s victory in the final T20I against Zimbabwe on May 11th, 2021, changed the course. This assured Pakistan their 81st bilateral win across all formats, the highest number achieved by any team in the 21st century so far. The team surpassed previous record holder Australia, which won 80 bilateral series in the same timespan.
