The renowned National Theatre at Home program is set to add a new and exciting stage thriller, “Prima Facie,” to its collection this month. The celebrated actress, Jodie Comer, delivers a riveting performance in the lead role of the legal drama.

Comer, who is best known for her award-winning work on the hit TV series “Killing Eve,” wields her considerable acting prowess in “Prima Facie.” The spectacle plays out entirely from the perspective of a successful barrister who has to grapple with her understanding of the law when she is thrust in the middle of a case that hits uncomfortably close to home.

Originally produced by Sydney Theatre Company, “Prima Facie” was written by Australian playwright Suzie Miller. The play offers a profoundly personal yet pointed critique of the criminal justice system and challenges its audience to question established societal norms and practices.

The National Theatre at Home has been offering audiences worldwide with quality theatre experiences during periods of COVID restrictions. The addition of “Prima Facie” to their program is yet another testament to their commitment to entertaining and enlightening public through socially conscious narratives.

The riveting performance of Jodie Comer in “Prima Facie” will be available to watch on National Theatre at Home starting this month. No official date has yet been offered for when it will be made available for public viewing.
