In the upcoming Qatar Grand Prix, the final positions have been set, determining the starting lineup for each driver. Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes will begin in pole position, after securing the fastest time during qualifiers. He is closely followed by his fierce competitor, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in second position.

Bottas from Mercedes, who finished the qualifiers in third place, secures the next slot in the starting grid. Behind him, in the fourth spot, will be Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. The fifth position goes to Sergio Perez of Red Bull, painting a picture of how tight the competition will be during the race.

Lando Norris from McLaren snatched the sixth position followed, shockingly, by Fernando Alonso of Alpine who secured the seventh position. Surprisingly, Alonso managed to surpass both Aston Martin drivers, Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel, who ended up in the eighth and ninth spots respectively.

In a surprising turn of events, Pierre Gasly of AlphaTauri failed to procure a place in the top ten, and will have to start way back in 11th. His teammate, Yuki Tsunoda, could only manage 13th place, showing that AlphaTauri will certainly have a challenge advancing in the race.

Ricciardo of McLaren secured a less-than-satisfactory 12th position, confirming that McLaren’s performance this season has faced varied outcomes. Filling out the rest of the grid are the rest of the field, including the two Haas drivers, Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin, in the 19th and 20th spots respectively.

While it’s clear that Hamilton has the upper hand starting in pole position, it remains to be seen how each of these determined drivers will manoeuver the track during the intense Qatar Grand Prix.
